Only the RIAA is dumb enough to sue its mainstream consumers. The MPAA tries more to abuse lobby powers to deture piracy as much as possible by manipulating laws.

Fact is suing and bankrupting people is really really bad PR in the digital age. Only reason the RIAA is so foolish as to sue its consumer base. This because they mass market trash created by them these days. As well as people have access to far better music or simply do no care about music anymore because of the limitless content that there is to pick from. Sadly they are more concerned about fighting among them selfs for scraps of a dieing industry to care about the long term. But music was always a FAD industry anyway… And they do not know how to get on the train now that people have the choices.

As for the TV industry they are not as retarded as to screw with the people that will be watching the shows they spew out for perhaps ones whole life. It’s not a good idea when the when your money mostly comes from countless ad buyers which need consumer support ultimately.

What is sad is the TV industry just doesn’t confess and put the preairs out with ads in them and start making some cash. I assume it is out of fear of pissing of its corporate masters. Sadly everything is so merged together theses days nowon can move on for fear of pissing of the big chain of corporate monopoly’s attempt to control content.

Anywho weeds is awesome, atlantis seems to be just about ready to die since it seems so far detached from what made SG1 so good. Only other preair that seemed worth the DL to me was Do Not Disturb and i found it very good from what i have seen so far. Much better then crap that has been getting renewed…
