I have tested today these two sites. At first about bitsnoop. From pluses it is live search, a site popular enough. From minuses this that that on pages of search is a lot of advertizing both from below and sideways, in search results many dead references. Now I will tell the impressions about torrentoff. At once about minuses. There is no live search, the site isn’t strongly untwisted. But now about pluses. There is no advertizing, navigation very convenient and still that was pleasant that there are last search results, always it is possible to download something brand new. Still I want to notice, how many didn’t try all ????? have appeared workers, can to me it is simple has carried.

Never really understood the “exclusivity” of private sites; seemingly if you want something fast and immediate, you’d have a $4 EasyNews account where stuff is put first to distribute. I have seen over 6MB/s on my “cheap” account I used to have, and that was the connection’s max at my end … I am sure you could get way above ~20MB/s if your connection could handle it.

On topic: Good to see TPB at the top, as is expected and most definitely deserved. Taking a good amount of the legal attacks for the betterment of the entire BitTorrent “swarm”, if you will, should be rewarded with the lions share of traffic. Without them, the weaker peons would have gotten more attention and, assuredly, would have fallen under that pressure (it blows my mind the personal and financial damage they have absorbed for so many people they don’t even know). I can only imagine the amount of work that needs to be done for free to even keep the TPB servers running under what is likely some pretty impressive continuous DDOS attacks.

Between TPB, bitsnoop and kickasstorrents, I think the torrent landscape is pretty awesome right now.

One torrent site is not sufficient for searching verified/real torrents. So, I use Torrent Daddy.
