Most of us use far better browsers than Chrome. Anyone who still believes Google is for internet freedom, and all about “power to the people” is either stupid or works for them. You failed to miss what Maxx meant, and you’re the jackass for still using Chrome. Oddly enough, you mentioned Internet Explorer as a burn, but didn’t even know they still had a browser anyone gave a flying fuck about.

In my view, it’s bad because you have to trust your data to a corporate owned server. I prefer to keep mine somewhere that I know it’s not being trawled through by the police/Inland Revenue or whoever without a court order, or even telling me what they might have looked at or even altered.

I don’t use underfeatured add-ons and I don’t use Chrome either (seems buggy and very crashy on my machine, for some unknown reason). It’s a good idea, though – I would like to see a fully-featured Bitsnoop add-on for FireFox, at some point. :)

Chrome is BAD. Tons of privacy issues. Chromium-based clones however, are extremely robust, and as fast (or faster) than anything out there & most take out the privacy issues. SRWare Iron, Chrome Plus & Comodo Dragon are all highly recommended.
