Collecting an IP doesn’t (shouldn’t) mean shit. Trackers have been injecting fake IPs for years, so there’s no way to tell whether an IP really was engaged in file-sharing, or not. They need to actively connect and exchange data to be sure that an IP really was active, and if the servers they do this from happen to be blocked in a blocklist you run, then it’s quite possible you won’t get notices.

It all depends on how they choose to do things.

Harvesting IP addresses by any method only leads to the bill payer, not the person’s responsible , that’s if the I.P was not spoofed, cloned ect, and should not be sufficient evidence to proceed any further end of, AS said just bin the letters,make no contact with them, in the extremely unlikely event they summons you to the court ,you will then be able to show their claims are based on shit
