what ever.. the point is the figures people around the world are throwing around are straight up retarded.

and yeah i have seen the movie, you are referring to 37:06 where the prosecution states the made a MINIMUM of 175,000 a year based on a statement where they guessed what they were earning per week.

my sarcastic comment (guess i don’t make that obvious enough) is directed to all those people who are claiming they make 30 million a year and yes some people come here and say that and i have argued with them about before..

and yeah i know the difference between a banner ad and a torrent.. i was putting banner ad’s on web sites to earn money long before torrents existed so spare the patronizing bull shit.

banner ads and torrents arw two seperate things. making millions off of banner ads is completly legal. they were not making money off people downloading anything. they were making money from just visitors to their site basically. also you are making stuff up with those figures, i watched the film/doc a few days ago and at no point do they say themselves how much they have made, however they do say its about 500 per month for each banner ad, the ads arwe replicated on multiple pages but the companies do not pay per ad on each page ads the ad is replicated, therefore the courts analysis of the figures was completly wrong. did you even watch the film?
