it will negatively impact the economy when people will quit buying Ipods, MP3 players, dvds, CDs, and every other device that depends on ripped files. Very few ppl will pay $300 for an ipod and have to buy $600 worth of content for it.Let it go idiots. SAVE money now by not spening millions to stop people from paying millions on fancy phones and gadgits. Bryan adams just sold 1000 tickets for $60 a piece the other nite here and all he played was guitar and sang(no band). He dont care if people buy his CDs at walmart.

If they’re worried about the economy.

1) Ditch the Federal Reserve
2) Stop wasting money on needless wars
3) Stop criminalizing people who use a substance less harmful than either alcohol or tobacco.

Those 3 steps alone would save BILLIONS and would reduce the number of people needlessly exposed to health and safety issues (no more needless inmates held in dangerous prisons for non-dangerous “crimes”, no more chemical warfare killing innocent civilians and injuring US troops (all on the basis of LIES).

If they actually gave a damn about the economy, health or safety… they wouldn’t be wasting time with this scapegoat-generating farce.

But they don’t care about that.
They only care about control.
