I am a former Azureus/Vuze user. The ram it consumes and the unnecessary stuff it contains made me change to uTorrent v2.

With all the stuff in Vuze it still needs plugins in order for it to function like i want it to and it was still complicated to do things. And one more thing... Vuze has a conflict with Alcohol 120% application.

Examples:
--I wanted it to make it download at nights because i have to pay more diuring the day, uTorrent v2: no plugins needed and done very easily on a sort of graph. Vuze: had to download plugin for it and it was still complecated to make it work.
--I wanted the pc to automatically shut down after the downloads where ready at night. uTorrent: Just thick shutdown when downloads are ready. Vuze ... dont remember well but PLUGINS PLUGINS that didnt really work well for me.

I don't want to try uTorrent v3 now because the v2 has all the stuff I really need and doesn't consume a lot of resaurces to run. v3 is a small step nearer to Vuze, and I don't want that. (uTorrent v3 integration with PS3/XBOX360 may be good though)

I am a very old torrent user (been using torrents from the beggining - bit tornado) and I can say that now new clients (or old not so popular clients) cannot continue because there are already very good and complete torrent clients available. So please, unless there are new, original and very important features, don't release new clients.

I use uTorrent 3.0 for it's remote operating abilities. I enjoy being able to download a torrent file on my droid and sending it to my computer to download while I'm away from home at work or on errands or what-not. That way I can take full advantage of advertising and grab things I like as I see them ;)
