we once thought of adding antivirus integration to frostwire but it didn’t make sense once we started implementing, all you gotta do is install any antivirus software on your computer, the moment a file will be accessed your antivirus software will kick in (so we ended up having a redundant useless experience).

as for ffmpeg, easy as pie to add, and we’ll still be free.

Single .exe file, no installer it just was click and run. Small and fast that is what folks want. They downloaded a torrent client, not a player, streamer, torrent rater, etc… Come on guys can the crap. Users want small fast and works extras equate to bloat and there is nothing you’re going to add that will hold a candle to dedicated app doing the same thing so why bother? It is more important to be great at one thing as opposed to 1/2 assed at several. Ever heard the saying jack of all trades master of none? Seems to apply here.
