Unfortunately, even using a VPN, seedbox, TOR network, etc., you can still be traced. Any traffic analyst with the right equipment and software and see exactly where you’re coming from and where you’re going. So please, folks, don’t shell out your hard-earned money for so-called “anonymity”. There’s no such thing anymore.

I stream cable TV to my phone using WinTV extend. I also stream video using Netflix all the time. WinTV is almost exclusively uploading where as Netflix is almost exclusively downloading.

Does that mean that I am a pirate then, just based off of bandwith usage?

Honestly, bandwidth usage is a horrible argument which a good lawyer should be able to rip apart in minutes in court.
