i used to use tvt all the time, but BTN has everything tvt has and a lot more. the gazelle frontend is so much quicker and has so many advantages over tvt’s obscure and glitchy software, e.g. actor directory, more formats for the most popular torrents, forums, way more series (BTN has ~4000 whereas TVT has ~2500).

The ratio-free system has big advantages over TVTs credit system – i.e. i can download 5 full series in 1080p if I want to right away, or perhaps as soon as I sign up with BTN, but while it is easy to seed and gain credits with TVT, that work must be done first to build up the necessary buffer, and as an impatient downloader, this makes BTN appeal to me way more.

The wealth of many more users can occasionally have its uses on torrent sites, as like you say, there are more seeds on each torrent on TVT, but i’ve still maxed out my modest/average connection every time when downloading from BTN, even when there’s only a couple of seeds.

TvTorrents.com is at least ten times the size of BroadcasThe.net, and it’s been around a hell of a lot longer, too. It doesn’t have to be ratio free, since there are so many peers on each torrent that seeding what you download is never a problem. There are also a lot more peers on older torrents at TvT. You might be on quite a few trackers, but you obviously don’t know anything about TvT.com.
