Risky, but useful. But what I usually do to is not bother at all and just leech. Whenever I get banned, I just leech again with a different IP, which isn’t too hard if you have a dynamic IP. Then again, it can still be done without a dynamic IP.
After all, we are pirates. Whether it’s by cheating or stealing, it doesn’t matter as long as it works. The only thing that matters is getting the treasures and satisfy our greed. Har!

Might seem great, get your stuff faster, but the whole idea of .torrent is to share, abusing others will just make it harder for the .torrent community to flourish.

But what we should do is use the hack so we can download new stuff to be able to seed them in the first place. what I mean is that i atleast seed 1 way or the other. I dont mind seeding, but i have a fast internet connection 5000KBPS, and i download fast and also alot of stuff. but when ppl d/l from me, their connection is way slower, so i get a bad ratio. its not my fault, i want to seed but i also want to leech. maybe ppl should get faster internet connections. this just makes the process faster for me.
Well i like epsilon’s thought not sure count griffith gets the idea, were pirates but why screw each other, we got everyone else trying to do that to us! Count griffith sounds more like a filthy thief than a pirate. Remember what goes around comes around!! I like having the privilage to access these files and programs to use so i am more than happy to seed back even when it means not gettin to download as much as fast as i want! Not exactly. There are some countries where downloading copy restricted material is still legal – in switzerland for example. Downloading is not a crime here, it is not proscribed, whether or not many companies would like to see us in jail and start huge “you are a criminal!” campains. Even if it isn’t legal in your country to download copy restricted material I wouldn’t designate it as “stealing” – it’s just making not authorized copies. Stealing would be taking physical money or robbing an old lady. As long as you call not authorized copying stealing, you’re just helping those companies who like to see downloaders as criminals and would be happy to see you put in jail for over 10 years for making copies.
So don’t use phrases like that, even when you don’t mean it. It’s the same, when companies call downloaders “pirates”. They say, downloading is the same as board an enemy ship and kill all seamen on it. How has downloading anything to do with killing people? It’s not a good idea to poison the spirit of good will (the spirit of sharing stuff with your friends), but that’s exactly what the movie instustry want’s us to believe – that sharing is wrong and makes you a pirat.

search torrentspy.com for leecher mods pack ;-) and use utorrent NC2 thats included in the pack.. it multiplies ur upload by 10 .. so if ur uploadin at 10kb.. ur private tracker thinks its 100kb :D

Having a hard time seeding after downloading files from a torrent tracker site? In Malaysia, we do have a decent 1Mb download speed but our upload speed is only 512Kb. In order to get a 1-1 ratio, we’ll have to spend double of the time or more to seed after download because our upload speed is half of our download speed. This is also IF there’s enough seeders to leech from you in order to maximise your upload speed… There is a bug to increase your upload/download/ratio in bittorrent trackers illegally. I call this the bittorrent ratio hack.
The “bug†has been tested on the torrent trackers that use the torrentbits source code (I don’t know if it works on other trackers).
The idea of this this “bug” is that you will sniff your torrent info using the HTTP Analyzer and with Firefox you will update your stats to the tracker being identified as a client. This is a simple and short tutorial that shows you how to do it, if you are “more” advanced you can use other tools to do it.
Programs that you need:
• HTTP Analyzer – http://www.ieinspector.com/httpanalyzer/
• Mozilla Firefox – http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
• User Agent Switcher Extension – http://chrispederick.com/work/firefox/useragentswitcher/
• And an bittorrent client such as µTorrent – http://www.utorrent.com/
Step-by-step instructions:
1. Install the User Agent Switcher Extension (the extension will be used to identify as a bittorrent client to the tracker) to Mozilla Firefox (if you don’t have Firefox, get it!).
2. After installing the extension go in Firefox to:
Tools -> User Agent Switcher -> Options -> Options -> User Agents
Click Add, write “BitTorrent/3.4.2†to the Description and User Agent and then press “Ok”.
3. Then go to:
Tools -> User Agent Switcher and select the newly added User Agent, “BitTorrent/3.4.2â€Â.
4. Install HTTP Analyzer.
5. Get a .torrent file from a tracker that uses the torrentbits source code and add it to your client. (DO NOT START IT)
6. Start HTTP Analyzer and go to the “Start Logging” button, select “Select a process…”, choose utorrent.exe if you’re using µTorrent (Important: If you use Azureus, select the javaw.exe proccess from the list) from the list and click “Ok”.
7. Go into your client and start the torrent.
8. Now go into HTTP Analyzer, there you should see a GET request to the tracker.
Example:

Anybody who uses this crap needs to burn in he** forever!!!! This stupid mo**** f***** got all of my Oink invites taken away from me today because he tried to cheat!!! He was caught instantly!!! Now I can’t invite anyone else. I searched ratio cheats on google and found this crap!!! The person who wrote this code needs the death penalty and is no worst than a child molester!!! Keeping ratio is extremely easy to keep on Oink if you keep torrents seeded correctly. BTW I have to upload 16 times as long as I download to reach a 1.1 ratio and it is still easy as sh*t.

One more thing, the reason some people search this is because in Australia, it costs $80 just to get speeds of 10mbit and you can only download 20gb a month, and they *watch* your uploads, and if you upload too much, they ban you.
I can’t beleive I’m triple posting, but oh well, this shitty site won’t let me edit.
We get 10mbit download speeds, but from other countries that’s more like… 100KB/s. Our upload speed is something like 256KB/s. To other countries, that’s about 30KB/s.
So to get a 1.1 ratio, we’d have to upload for days and days and days, and since a lot of the internet in Australia is on cable, a shared medium, it would put so much strain on the network, you get banned.
Cheating the Cheaters whould be fun.

It is true, in australia internet priced are grossly overprived and underspeed – i pay $80 per month and only get up speed of 128kilobits and down speed of 512kilobits per second – i have left computer on overnight numerous times and when i wake up i find it only uploads around 100 meg because trackers are not updated quick enough it is IMPOSSIBLE to geta decent ratio – also my azureus ratio is well over 1 but my demonoid ratio is down around .4 for i dont know what reason and its all i use

Leechers want the illegal content anyway but are selfish and it will slowly prevent sharing for us in the future, yet us kind sharing people literally pollute p2p mostly with more pirated material. Small difference

guys this is shit. if we all just leech there won’t be anybody to leech from. here in germany we have adsl which sux balls. i have 2 mb download and 192 kb up. thats 24 kilobytes / sek upload and 240 kb/s dl. i am not using any leeching tools anyway. my “tool” is never turning off my pc and seeding. so i still get a good share ratio. you guys should seriously think if torrent is the right thing for you, if you have a dynamic ip, downloading from rapidshare or megaupload is a better thing for you and it even may be faster than torrent.

stop bitching about people leeching. everybody knows how bittorrent works and nobody cares if its going to deplete bandwidth from the torrent community. if you want to be super hero of the torrent community why not quit posting on these fucking forums 24/7 about how everyone should have a 1:1 ratio or higher and keep yours at 5:1 to make up for everyone who doesnt seed.
I come to country on boat and get free house and free mobile telephony. I get benefit to pay for my 20mb connection and I get free blank dvd to write pirated film to. Then I sell dvd with nice print cover to idiot people in country I come to for lotsa money.

I gained a virus in my system32 folder, so I’ve had to start using a newly installed Azureus on new HDD, so i lost all my ratio, is there any way of transfering my ratio from one HDD to the newer drive.?

The best way to cheat is to modify the source code of your bittorrent client to report back faked amounts of how much you uploaded or downloaded and make the numbers reasonable. For example, you can tell the tracker you’ve uploaded the same amount as you downloaded * 1.5 or something to that effect. You can also make it not seed when you’ve finished downloading the file so you can move on to the next torrent. That’s how I cheat. If you know how to code, you can easily cheat.
