Top 10 Most Pirated Movies on BitTorrent
Written by Ernesto on March 09, 2009The top 10 most downloaded movies on BitTorrent, ‘Twilight’ tops the chart this week. ‘Role Models’ and ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ are in second and third place respectively.
This week there are four newcomers. Twilight took over the lead from Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire and is the most downloaded movie of the week, with well over a million downloads.
The data for our weekly download chart is collected by TorrentFreak, and is for informational and educational reference only. Currently both DVDrips, DVD Screeners and R5 rips are counted.

I think here in Quebec, girls are not expert in computing. So they do not download on their own.
Must be some guys who want to see the movie anyway. Even if i know it is popular, i want to download it just to see what the movie is.
Its just popular i want to know why.

I dont know for you, but it’s normal a movie like Transporter 3 is in the top then. I mean, i didn’t see the first and the second and i didn’t know if this movie was in theater. So why it is there in top then as much then Twilight.
It must be a connection somewhere or a explanation for bad movie on the top 10 list.

You hardly need to be an “expert in computing” to download movies though.

My meaning was the girl know how to use internet for chating or email. Even they know how to write text and somes softwares.

Slumdog Millionaire was very overrated and definitely does not deserve such a rating.
I’d say Valkyrie and Role Models are worth a watch.
