Top 10 Most Pirated Movies on BitTorrent
Written by Ernesto on January 12, 2009The top 10 most downloaded movies on BitTorrent, “RocknRolla” tops the chart this week, followed by “Max Payne”.
Again, quite a few newcomers have entered the list. From the top three of last week, only “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” managed to survive.
The data for our weekly download chart is collected by TorrentFreak, and is for informational and educational reference only. Currently both DVDrips, DVD Screeners and R5 rips are counted.

To me, RocknRolla was a bad movie in terms of Guy Richie, I was expecting alot more. The character introduction was done too rapid, so I was struggling to tell who was who.
It had a few typical Guy Richie lines, and his style of storytelling, but nah, I'll stick with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch…
I still want to watch Max Payne but I'm worried I will cringe throughout.
And to me, Saw lost the plot after the second. The first will always be the best in my eyes.
cant understand why the button movie is on top, the dvdscr i found just doesnt fit the bill… out of sync and very blury quality…

Defiance is the only film on the list that isn't shite, (haven't seen rocknrolla) It's got jews killing germans, what more do you want from a film :D

amen to that, Max Payne is freaking horrible.
The entire movie is boring as shit, and at the end theres like 2 action scenes which are short and SUCK. 1 Slow motion scene.. he doesnt even do his trademark sideways slow motion double pistol jump..
They have puke actors like Ludafaggot. I like Mila Kunis but she is HORRIBLE.. she looks like a 15 year old trying to use a machine gun.
They completely butchered the story line because when they were making the script they started sniffing paint cans and glue and thought it would be cool to put some stupid drug into the story that makes you see weird flying demons that nobody gives a shit about. The so called 'twist' at the end is so fucking lame and predictable and disappointing its not even funny..
The movie belongs in the garbage, anyone who thinks otherwise has zero taste. If you played the game DO NOT SEE THE MOVIE, it will piss you off so much you will want to stab hot soldering iron in your eye.

Lucky we didnt have a soldering iron… we had to use a nail and hammer…, shared between three guys…. the good news is we look like pirates now with eye patches.
I guess they tried to do a game movie like Hitman, which was a pretty damn decent flick.. even if you didnt play the game.
This one sucked so badly that…. damn, gonna have to stop typing or will go searching for another soldering iron/hammer & nails…
i can live with people calling me one-eye-jack but
no-eyes-jack just does not sound as cool….

YAY City of Ember!!
I read the books years ago, and for anyone wondering, the movie doesn't stay completely true to it – but all the changes only to made it a better movie, without cutting any of the important scenes that made the book so good. (With one exception, the opening sequence was the surprise ending of the book)
Also, there are two sequels and a prequel – People of Sparks, Diamond of Darkhold, and Prophet of Yonwood. One of the insignificant scenes left in the movie hints that People of Sparks will be made at one point.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is really good.
