It would seem that trying to lock up four Swedes has made little difference then? Except that now I’m not going to see Watchmen and Star Trek at the Imax as I had planned to!

Shows that The Pirate Bay supporters have terrible taste in movies. Fighting against corporations yet every movie on there is made by a big corporation. Noobs who think only Hollywood produces movies, LOL

No it just means there are a bunch of shitty movies out there. I would rather preview these shitty movies, than have purchased them and been full of regret and pissed off.

@3

Good point!

6 Apr 21, 2009 at 10:33 by Think about it

Only one good movie on the list. And they want to try to blame filesharing on lost revenue instead of admitting they keep making unwatchable garbage.

7 Apr 21, 2009 at 11:09 by ...

I am ashamed of the horrible taste of downloaders.

Thanks for the inspiration, just reading your comments is enough for me to download every film on that list, you can tell your bosses at the riaa/mpaa about me next time their fvcking you in the ass & shoving their $hit covered c0ck$ down your throat.

hahahahahahaahahahahaah

@ think about it

Thats right, unwatchable garbage they will never admit…

Can’t say any of these have/look to be must see movies. The problem is with stuff like Benjamin Button which is raved to be really good…

Yets be honest, it’s not bad, but it’s nothing special either, neither is it something most would want to watch again, in my oppinion anyways.

All of these great movies (AND OTHERS!!) Can be found at none other than Strikeys-Torrents.com !!!

11 Apr 21, 2009 at 12:01 by Say Hi To Your Mum

That is quite possibly the worst top 10 I’ve seen, and they expect me to pay for this shit? I can’t even be bothered to download them for nothing!

Fucking Seeeeeeeeed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

15 Apr 21, 2009 at 12:11 by lol

i think the mpaa should have a look at this list and go watch the movies themselves and see why they are the most downloaded…

And realise that nobody watches crap movies at the theatres unless they are chumps, even if star trek was leaked with a good quality rip, the nerds would still see it in the masses.

Unoriginal Movie/Game #124

Original movies that fans can get behind aren’t made in Hollywood anymore, it seems.

While I haven’t seen these movies, I’d bet anything that this is the same cookie-cutter style disposable media that the games industry is putting out.

It just shows that these movies and games are only about maximizing profit while minimizing effort.

The entire media industry lacks passion.

Watch a movie like Red Cliff if you want to know what a great movie really is.

By the way, does anyone know of a great pirate movie?

:)

#9: You’re so right; I saw Benjamin Button in the theater and I have no desire to ever see it again.

Perhaps when it comes out on Blu-ray I’ll rent it just to see the VFX more clearly (and pick out all the flaws?)

18 Apr 21, 2009 at 14:11 by HA .. SORRY

JUST THINK FOR A SECOND….ONLY REASON I AM DOWNLAODING THIS GARBAGE IS TO SUPPORT TPB… ALL THESE MOVIES ARE GARBAGE EXEPT 1 OR 2 AND EVEN THEN I WOULDN’T BUY THEM I HAVEN’T SEEN A REAL GOOD MOVIE WORTH BUYING YET, AND IF I DID I WOULDN’T BECUASE OF WHAT MAFIAA HAS BEEN DOING. THEY DON’T DESERVE MY MONEY. THATS JUST THE WAY I FEEL

19 Apr 21, 2009 at 14:14 by DeMon

i actually really liked The Uninvited. its got a really crazy twist at the end! complete mindf*ck!

definitely like to see more movies in the future like this one! as for Twilight? wasnt really that impressed. you want a REAL well made vampire flick?

Interview With The Vampire. WIN!

20 Apr 21, 2009 at 14:44 by Anonymous

With people vociferating how much Hollywood sucks and looking at those IMDb ratings, why are you downloading that shit???

21 Apr 21, 2009 at 14:48 by Anonymous

“JUST THINK FOR A SECOND….ONLY REASON I AM DOWNLAODING THIS GARBAGE IS TO SUPPORT TPB…”

That makes no sense at all. Only an idiot would waste everyone’s bandwidth like that and caps lock doesn’t really convince me either.

Why not download something that you want instead and not bloat the dl stats of crappy movies?!?

22 Apr 21, 2009 at 16:26 by money talks

All Torrents for these movies are easly found on GOOGLE just add “torrent” to your search.

Suprising that the google (unworkable) take down proceedure has not removed all the links so why have the RIAA/MPAA have not draged them to court

Just another example how money talks

23 Apr 21, 2009 at 16:43 by akademos

@7
” I am ashamed of the horrible taste of downloaders ”

…More than the taste of the downloaders its the uploaders popularity which has influenced these figures.

Almost all at the Top 5 are ripped by FXG and you may check yourself the sheer number of downloads in his page which has affected these figures.

No wonder in aXXo’s hiatus phase FXG is ruling the charts again with his consistent rips which the mass prefers !

24 Apr 21, 2009 at 16:50 by akademos

@ 22..
” All Torrents for these movies are easly found on GOOGLE just add “torrent” to your search. ”

Ahhh here we go again.Google has done a very sensible thing by reacting to copyright notices whenever that has been reported. This has been done several times in the past with google owned youtube and google video.
Removing all torrent links will not be possible as this has already been proved to the court that they track every damn thing on the intenet and not just torrents.
Also TPB tracks torrent which users uploads through its website.Google points you to a torrent tracked by TPB and others.
So they know the legal games and have played it well.Thats why they are still in business.
That said …TPB’s verdict is still an injustice which has been motivated by other factors which are much beyond filesharing and more to do with politics, money and WTO !!!

25 Apr 21, 2009 at 18:05 by SomeoneE1se

I think you need to startlinking to rottentomatoes.com instead of imdb, imdb is fine but If I’m trying to pick a movie to watch it’s not my first choice.

26 Apr 21, 2009 at 18:28 by Soundwave

It seems like the only good movies from Hollywood are always movies that were based on books.

27 Apr 21, 2009 at 19:52 by Dan

Marley and Me’s video has been removed

‘This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Twentieth Century Fox.’

PATHETIC!

28 Apr 22, 2009 at 01:43 by anonymous

why even bother with the uninvited
watch the original instead!

I am thinking about downloading yes man, thats it though. I bought the Pirates of the Carribean trilogy because they were good movies, along with underworld and a few others, but most movies they are making now aren’t worth the cost. F&F4 I saw in theaters because I had a free ticket. When I got out, I was sad I wasted so much time there even though it was free, because the movie was so awful. The action scene in the beginning was how a semi truck with 2 gas tanks on the back of it going 50 MPH couldnt stop in 1/2 of road. The movie pissed me off more than I enjoyed it because everything they said about cars made no sense whatsoever

“OMFG HE H4S T3H N00SSSSSSS! WE CANT’ WINZ! G3T 0\/T YOU ARE COLD AIR INTAKES!”

31 Apr 22, 2009 at 07:59 by Jeremy

@21 Uh, it is not a waste of bandwidth to those sharing or do you not really understand how torrents work?

As far as Google goes, here, try this..
http://www.google.com/cse?cx=003849996876419856805:erhhdbygrma&ie=UTF-8&q=&sa=Search
Nuff said.

32 Apr 22, 2009 at 13:45 by TheCareBay

Agreed all very poor films. They should be happy that people are downloading to watch them. You would have to pay me to watch this lot!

33 Apr 22, 2009 at 17:39 by ppb

I would say out of all these movies Yes Man would be the only one i would be willing to pay for. And that would be when it came out as a reduced priced DVD. Does not suprise me that the other movies are in the top 10 downloads. Who would willingly go and pay to watch these on the big screen?
That said, since i have become a pirate i have contributed far more to the entertainment industry than ever before. It is true the very community who are responsible for the so called loss of revenue are the ones who are supporting it too. If it wasent for the pirates, Hollywood et al would be in dire trouble.
