Top 10 Most Pirated Movies on BitTorrent

The top 10 most downloaded movies on BitTorrent, ‘Season of the Witch’ tops the chart this week, followed by ‘TRON: Legacy’. ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader’ completes the top three.

      I’ve seen Tron: Legacy and it had freaking awesome visuals and freaking awesome soundtrack (and good story). You will enjoy it baby!

      p.s : get the 720p version or higher. Xvid is pants :P

        There is such a thing as 720p XviD.
        To get the same quality XviD as a H264 file… The bitrate of the XviD needs to be higher ( so also filesize )

        For a very similar quality encode…. EG….

        XviD @ 1,000kbps is equivalent to about H264 @ 500 – 600kbps.

        So… To get a similar quality 720p XviD file…(compared to H264)
        The filesize needs to 140% greater than the H264 encode.

        After a bit of research…. FACT is :

        720p XviD does exist at BETTER quality….
        than some 720p H264 encodes for Tron Legacy. … It’s a FACT..

        ALSO….. Not everyone has powerfull hardware to play H264 , it does use nearly 500% more cpu resources to play a file..compared to XviD

          yeah, but many of the h264 video files I’ve seen that crack up the cpu utilization are in MKV container. h264 doesn’t do much, or I’m getting low bitrate h264′s…

          Well, if you actually read what I wrote there, it doesn’t say anywhere about an 720p “xvid” does there?
          It means the 720p CHD release in h264 of ‘course ;)
          And having watched both the xvid and the 720p h264: xvid is crap.

          720p XviD does exist at BETTER quality….
          than some 720p H264 encodes for Tron Legacy. … It’s a FACT..

          LOL wut, this is a joke ya?

          And after doing a shitload of h264 encodings and h264->xvid conversions (before finally getting over xvid), it takes 2 times (and maybe some more) the original h264 bitrate if you want to convert to xvid and be close (sort of) to the original’s quality. But it’s so useless nowadays no?
          Having a nice media PC is the way to go ;)

      I Agree.. I am glad I’m not shelling out $7.00 or whatever movies cost at the Theater these days.. I don’t even look for bit torrents as much as I used to because of the total lack of quality

        Agreed here as well, i haven’t even seen any of them. Even when they are available for free i don’t want them as everything is just the same old stuff with a different title. They are not worth waiting for them to download.

    I think you should also display the list of the most pirated TV series – maybe this will stop the cancelation of so many good series. Recently, many excellent TV shows were cancelled on reasons based exclusively on their ratings in the US.

      Maxspeed seems mostly limited to TPB where he releases other group’s movie releases as his own.

      Go beyond TPB and you are more likely to find the original releases seeding well.

      My niece loves Tangled. Twice now she has requested this movie played again. I am so getting her the DVD for her birthday.

      I was impressed that Disney made a great movie. Pixler has for years left them dead in the water. Disney did throw every old and new idea into this one including some help from Pixler.

      Let us hope they keep this up. Anyway Tangled a great family movie and extra vital viewing for young girls.
