The top 10 most downloaded movies on BitTorrent, ‘Cowboys and Aliens’ tops the chart this week, followed by ‘Warrior’. ‘The Inbetweeners Movie’ completes the top three.

      Credit goes to Reliance Comm which tried to block several sites in India to stop the piracy of this film. And considering the fact that in India if 1 person downloads a film, he shares it physically with at least 5 others (using pen drives, DVD’s etc) I think this one must be on the top.

    Cowboys and Alien made a large return then. All people seeking a good movie over this Xmas holiday period and there was not that much choice.

    Still it is a good worthy movie. I just await the sequel where they have to glue his new alien GF back together.

    Should anyone want a sci-fi expansion they may have not seen before then I would recommend the 2009 movie simply called “Moon”. A guy’s Lunar job is not what it appears.

    I went into cinema to watch, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol , TBO it was not worth spending the £20 on (was orange Wednesdays with crappy popcorn), guess i should of downloaded it first

      The BPI are lying shits and no one but the most stupid would believe them.

      This 24% increase in song sales is well enough to explain the 6% drop in album sales alone when these days people do not need to buy the album to get the few songs they do want to hear. That is not to forget the on-going recession.

      So the BPI blaming piracy is like “I could not get an erection last night and that damned piracy is to blame”. Continue on with your lies anyway BPI when as each day passes the less people there will be who believe you.

      The news that caught my attention was that those hackers at the CCC want to send up their own satellites to be able to provide censorship free and highly secured Internet connections.

      Their other plan to put a hacker on the Moon seems less likely though.

    I miss downloading torrents. My provider (CenturyLink) says they will permanently boot me if i ever download again. They sent me some “internet ticket” warning me

      Even if you never torrent again, odds are they’ll boot you permanently at some point anyways. We’ve seen the kind of errors ISP’s and so called “investigators” make when it comes to making accurate accusations.
