The top 10 most downloaded movies on BitTorrent, ‘The Campaign’ tops the chart this week, followed by ‘Fire with Fire’. ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ completes the top three.

This week there are three newcomers in our chart.

The Campaign is the most downloaded movie.

    The Amazing Spider-Man 7.5 LOL bull shit it is, the movie SUCKED.
    Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter 6.2 that’s BS, its an easy 7.0, that move was way better than The Amazing Spider-Man.
    Prometheus yep that was a good revamp. “NOT a fucking prequel like every one thinks” if you think it is then you didn’t watch the 1st 2 alien movies to well.

      Spiderman – better than Raimi’s efforts (and Evil Dead is may all time favourite movie) and based more on the Ultimate Spiderman so a worthehile 7.5 – 8.0 (in my opinion).
      Abraham Lincoln VH – good start – week middle – crap ending – lucky to get a 6.0
      Prometheus (not a prequel – but a starting point for Alien if you read Ridley Scotts interviews) – well worth an 8.0

    ever since the internet came out the world economies have gone down ,,the reason being is because intellectual property is not protected businesses are going bankrupt because what sudios artists and big companies,,im talking about companies that employ millions,,there products cds,movies,ebooks,games are being put out for free,,when stores have items on shelfs you cant just walk in there and take it or else you will get caught fined and in jail..so as that happens in the real world it should happen on the internet to,,the inernet needs to be more policed,the internet was created to build ideas and get information much quicker not to bring businesses down by stealing there goods smhh there has to be a stop to this madness

      The distribution of information and ideas is changing, society is just lagging behind, not to mention too many people are making too much money off of the old way of doing things. Downloading stuff for free will become the accepted norm, just wait a generation or two.

        Before VHS/Beta-max a movie companies main income was movie theaters and television. It is still their main income and they are still pulling record profits and not including what they are able to sell retail now.

      Intelectual property is still respected, and bought. The problem is that the companies (publishers/distributors) are the middle men who want there cut still, when there is no need for them. Who needs a cd/dvd/BD pressing plant and distribution network when the product can be distributed for almost free – COMPANIES ARE SCARED they are loosing the power.

      2) Mass theft explains the recent massive economic contractions that have destroyed so much human wealth; and, brought so much misery to individual citizens?…..Absolutely true!….. But, only the institutionalized theft, operating on the scale of Monopoly Corporations (Systemicly important Banks; monopoly tele-coms; oil and mining conglomerates; rating agencies; pharmaceuticals); and, corrupt government (especially oligarchic ) can explain global wealth destruction like that from the housing and banking crisis.

      Conclusion: these points are respectfully submitted for your intelligent assessment in the hope that you might join, and help create, the necessary alternative perspectives without which the current Corporate plundering of human potential can NOT be corrected.

    how the hell do u post record profits if people keep downloading and stealing goods? impossible thats why record companies are cenoring the internet cause artists cant make ny money,,,mater of fact artists dont mke money of cds anymore they just perform shows and make a living the record labels and highr up people are the ones who is losing money because for each cd that sells they make more than half of it,,if it was not for free downloading the world economy ouldve been at a fast pace instead of being slow,,yea the internet has helped the economy a lil bit but more jobs wuld have been readily available once he internet came out plus no free downloading,,plus it ould have been easier to mke a living if u were an independent artists or movie producer cause u can sell ur stuff online so if u think bout it its not just big record or movie companies

      Artists have allways taken less than a 10% cut of the PROFIT on physical sales, and on itunes bollox they recieve even less. They have allways depended on merchandise and ticket sales too make the biig money.

      The world economy is in the shitter because greedy bastads sold dodgy morgatges and lay away payment plans too ignorant folks who could not afford them. Its in the shitter because greedy corporate whores like to pay massive bonuses to insider trading banker twats.

      If you were a regular reader you’d know just how many indie artists and film directors have benefited greatly from the promotion provided by piracy. Many of them would have had a much slower start without it. I’ll let someone else comment on the rest of the misinformed crap in your post.
