Every week we take a look at the most downloaded TV-Shows on BitTorrent. Lost, which had the honor of being the most pirated show of 2008 and is leading the TV-download chart this week closely followed by Heroes.
The data for the most recent TV episodes listed below are collected by TorrentFreak from a representative sample of BitTorrent sites and is for informational and educational reference only. The data for the second list based on the total number of downloads (not only recent episodes) of all shows in the past week is provided by ShowInsider.

Out of the top 10 downloaded tv shows (recent episodes) their are 5 that I actually do not watch. No not 5 that I watch just 5 that I avoid… Yes sad.. But at least dancing with the stars, dancing with the stars results, top model, american idol, survivor, csi, ncis, etc are not on the list. Also it looks like I may get the 1st post woot.

I stopped watching Lost after about the 10th door they found, how many more doors have they found now? Is it a conspiracy theory involving Jim Morrison?

Whedon has said that the first 6 eps are different ftom what the rest of the series is meant to be… sposedly the first 6 eps are more for “casual viewers” (whatever that means) but after that Dollhouse is meant to “change significantly” and become “much better”. We shall see.
At the moment I’ve found it OK… not fantastic TV – acting seems a little poor in some cases, the props (”mind eraser/writer” machine especially) and the “humour” just doesn’t grab me, but the concept is original and, well, I’m a huge fan of Eliza Dushku, she’s beautiful and very sexy. So-so to mediocre actor but she’s cast well for this role (what with the fact that she’s effectively a woman with a babie’s mind in some parts of this series … ie. the acting ability required for this is not exactly huge ;P).
It has potential to be a great show I think but with Fox it’s all about the ratings of course.
Judging from the first 3 eps something big had better happen for it to achieve greatness – but I’ve read several interviews where Whedon is promising that and he doesn’t seem to prone to hyping things up so I’m expecting it to get better.
It’s getting harder and harder to justify the amount of money I spend on cable each month.
This week as always I played by the rules and set my CableCo’s PVR to record LOST. When I went to watch it I found out that it had started late and the last 5 minutes of the show wasn’t recorded.
So in a few hours I downloaded an HD BitTorrent (my TV is still SD) with the complete show, *with all the ads removed*.
It’s no longer a case of “pirated” material just being more convenient — now it’s a vastly-superior product!
