uTorrent, a great torrent client

Written by Ernesto on November 18, 2005

Looking for a great torrent client? uTorrent is a relatively new player on the market, besides the always popular Bitcomet and Azureus. It has all the advanced feature you need, but uses less cpu and memory.
Check out the features:

* Smart bandwidth usage
* File level priorities
* Configurable bandwidth scheduling
* Global and per-torrent speed limiting
* Quickly resumes interrupted transfers
* UPnP support (WinXP only)
* Supports popular protocol extensions
* Trackerless support (Mainline DHT)
* Localized to different languages
* Typical memory use less than 6 MB
* Incredibly small: 105 KB

Hi, I’ve tried uTorrent, and it worked fine except that it makes Mozilla Firefox to freeze or not start up. I’m currently using Azureus, but are there other bittorrent clients that use less cpu and works with Firefox?

Thanks
