here goes another week of… it’s not a TELECINE it’s TELESYNC.

What a waste of a comment section. Nice to see Push doing well, I thought it was a really good movie although alot of critics said it was poor.

Push looks like a rip-off of heroes from the trailer

Looks ok though – might go and see that one.

So – billions lost by the industry then due to this piracy? Boo-hoo!

I’d love to know how many of those downloads come from countries that don’t have these movies yet. Coraline starts in two! months here … I would have bought the DVD right after I saw it but noooooo … I have to wait 2 months. When do these movie idiots realize this? 2-3 months in internet terms is like millenia. Release it all NOW. No wonder people aren’t buying your stuff … you’re not selling.

@4: I beg to differ Monsieur Patriotique … simply the fact that almost no one on this planet (compared to English) speaks your language makes french movies worse than american ones. And let’s not forget … most of the good french movies as of late have been financed and shot by americans. But who am I telling this, I’m not going around saying “German movies are the best” because that would be equally ignorant and stupid.

10 Jun 02, 2009 at 12:48 by Rotard

German movies are se best! ;-)

11 Jun 02, 2009 at 13:21 by Anonymous

Shame they’ve started including CAMs aswell now..

12 Jun 02, 2009 at 13:30 by Lolocaust

When did Torrentfreak stop reading the comments?

I love TF, but I remember when they used to read and respond to comments.

They are obviously not even reading them now, seeing that Star Trek is posted as a TC yet again.

13 Jun 02, 2009 at 14:00 by www.eZee.se

Wolverine – dog/wolf crap.

R5 quality was fantastic… movie not fantastic.

X-Men 1 and 2 were pretty good, 3 and if you can count this as 4, leave much to be desired.

Am I glad I didnt have to pay to see that crap in a theater, and put up with expensive snacks, irritating other people who make a noise and who’s cellphones ring a retarded tune in the middle of the movie, as well as idiots who keep asking other idiots “what did he/she say?”, “i dont get it, why did….” etc.

14 Jun 02, 2009 at 14:08 by Lol

There is no Telecine for Star Trek, it’s a telesync. Every week they get it wrong.

15 Jun 02, 2009 at 14:21 by Screwin

I think Ernesto ‘knows’ it’s not a telecine, but maybe he lists it as one to mess with all of us? No Editor can be that stupid?

16 Jun 02, 2009 at 15:13 by $arpit$

fuckers stop debating about telecine or telesync its there site they can write whatever they want !!!!!

17 Jun 02, 2009 at 15:49 by Anonymous

22 Jun 02, 2009 at 19:22 by Izkata

Holy fuck, Look! A simple google search proved Torrentfreak right and the commenters wrong!

“Star Trek Telecine” – first result is this: http://www.torrentreactor.net/find/star-trek-2009-telecine

Idiots.

23 Jun 02, 2009 at 19:51 by this sounds about right

That torrent site is fake, you can search for whatever movie and it will find result that says “your search result + full movie” and “you search result + good quality2 and so on. Try to test it
http://www.torrentreactor.net/search.php?search=&words=dsakjod%C3%A6klas%C3%A6kls+2220&cid=&sid=&type=2&exclude=&orderby=relevance&asc=0&x=0&y=0
Just some randoms letters.
The results below it where it don’t find any in my example are correct but in ur example you will see that there are no star trek 2009 TCs.

@2

So out of the top ten downloaded movies of the week only one has failed to equal its budget ‘Fired Up’, (looks shit anyway!).

These movie producers must be raking it in, I like the fact that ‘He is just not that into you’ has made so much money, probably due to the fact of quality advertising or idiotic girlfriends wanting to see it.

@8 do you think that these movies have lost revenue or are you taking the piss?

@2 Anonymous

So – billions lost by the industry then due to this piracy? Boo-hoo!

What billions lost?
All I did see was the gross paying for the film and then some LoL

But I could be wrong so please care to show me where did you see some loss in the list?

27 Jun 02, 2009 at 23:46 by NO TELECINE

Hahaha, all respect for the writers has been lost. They continue to write Telecine, when it’s a Telesync release.

@22 – You utter moron.

28 Jun 03, 2009 at 00:41 by AsongAboutLife

@25 most def because of idiotic girlfriends haha

29 Jun 03, 2009 at 00:52 by Anonymous

Well, all the lamers will now be happy that they switched it:

#8: Star Trek (Telesync)

30 Jun 03, 2009 at 11:14 by DakE_FeatH

Guys take the Cams out of the chart!!

31 Jun 03, 2009 at 15:30 by #YLS#

@ 25 – Dave

To be honest, I’ve downloaded Fired Up and it’s a good, sit around and have a laugh guy movie, it’s just not what you go to the cinema for, so it’ll probably still make back a fair amount when it’s out on DVD

32 Jun 03, 2009 at 19:29 by Anon

Piracy, gotta love it. Maybe we should start using this philosophy for other things too. I don’t like Captain Crunch so I might as well steal it rather than pay for it. How about that car I don’t like, lets just drive it off the lot since I wouldn’t have paid for it anyways.

33 Jun 03, 2009 at 20:28 by graphicartist2k5

anon, get a life and a clue. noone’s saying that “piracy” applies to every other thing. you seriously need to get a grip on reality. every person KNOWS not to go to a car lot and steal a car, just because they “wouldn’t have paid for it anyway”, and the same thing applies to buying things in a grocery store. what is the purpose of your post, other than to try and piss people off, and garner attention towards your own stupid point of view? NO ONE on this site is telling anyone to steal a car/groceries/whatever else. SHARING files on the internet is not stealing. however, going into a music store and pulling a snatch and grab of your favorite artist’s new cd IS stealing, and it’s ONLY stealing because of the monetary value that the riaa tells music stores to put on the music cds that are sold in those stores. do you HONESTLY think that we’re all just going to “see it your way”, and that you’re some sort of wisdom-filled “pariah” that we’re all just going to follow around like lost puppies, and you’re the one showing us the right way to go? as others have said: sit down, and STFU.

34 Jun 03, 2009 at 20:36 by Evan

@32…

If I could make an exact copy of any car that I wanted, and still leave the original owner with THE SAME CAR… why the fuck wouldnt I?

35 Jun 03, 2009 at 22:13 by Xander Delores

holy crap, they finally changed it to TS, that took long but finally it’s over ;}

36 Jun 04, 2009 at 07:37 by LJ

Coraline is a shit movie, i dont understand its popularity at all ..

37 Jun 04, 2009 at 20:06 by cam hater

seriously guys….take the cams off the chart everyone hates them and it sucks we don’t get to see REAL releases that don’t make it up because someone’s CRAPPY cam got popular one week(or several)
